The Rokka Gorge is located in the far west of the island of Crete, and the hike takes you through the dry riverbed. It is relatively easy, but as is often the case with gorge hikes, there are some sections where you need to climb over larger stones and rocks. There are areas with plenty of greenery, and towards the end of the hike, high rock walls rise up around you. Additionally, you pass through a fantastic narrow passage near the end.

The hike may not always be possible year-round due to meteorological conditions (water levels)!
