10. Sarakina gorge Circular hike

Conditions: sunny / shady
This hike takes us to the southeastern part of the island of Crete, near the town of Ierapetra. Although it is more of a small gorge, depending on the water level, there may be times when more or less climbing is required. It involves navigating over sticks and stones, and larger boulders must also be overcome. Depending on the conditions in the gorge, one should be prepared for wet feet at times.
The hike is not always possible due to meteorological conditions (water level)!
