Many trails are poorly signposted or inaccurately described online. Anyone who wants to explore the island independently will quickly encounter uncertainties.

Our tours are aimed at people who want to actively discover Crete and value orientation, safety and independence.
This is particularly suitable for you if you:
- enjoy hiking independently but don't want to be travelling without a plan
- want to experience Crete away from the well-known routes
- are travelling by hire car and want to remain flexible
- want clear information about the route, duration and difficulty
- prefer to travel at your own pace
Our tours are not for you if you:
- are only looking for guided group hikes
- want to set off spontaneously without any preparation
- have no hiking experience and are unsure on uneven terrain
- are expecting a classic package tour
In these cases, we recommend classic guided tours on site.
Here's how it works – step by step:
1. Select a suitable hike
Choose a hike or tour package that suits your holiday, schedule and personal requirements. You will find clear information on the length, duration and difficulty of each tour.
2. Receive your tour package
After purchase, you will receive all the important information about the tour: GPS data, maps, route description and directions to the starting point. So you know exactly what to expect.
3. Set off on your own
You hike independently and at your own pace. You decide when and how long you are on the road – without peer pressure and without time pressure.
Our routes have been personally hiked and deliberately chosen to be easy to follow and realistically feasible.
4. For guided hikes
If you decide on a guided hike, we will arrange a date and meeting point in advance. Once there, we will accompany you step by step throughout the tour.

Our hikes are made possible through a crowdfunding model.
With your support, you help us to make verified and well-documented hikes on Crete accessible and to develop them further.
