Hikes West Crete

Western Crete consists of the two prefectures of Rethymnon and Chania. The administrative centre of the prefecture of Rethymnon is the city of Rethymnon and this prefecture is located in the central west of the island of Crete. The prefecture of Chania is administered by the city of Chania and is located in the west of the island. We do not follow the prefectures exactly in our division, but use the city of Heraklion as the centre!
